5. What surfaces can I use this product on?

Lizol Disinfectant surface cleaner may be used on hard, nonporous surfaces throughout your home. Lizol cleans, disinfects and deodorizes regular and no-wax floors, non-wood cabinets. For painted surfaces, it is recommended that the product first be tested in a small inconspicuous area.

In the kitchen, Lizol Disinfectant surface cleaner may be used on countertops, refrigerators, non-wood cabinets, sinks, stovetops, and microwave ovens. For the bathroom, it may be used for tiles, tubs, porcelain. And for all around the house, it may be used on floors, garbage cans, in the basement, in the garage.

6. Can I use this inside my refrigerator?

Yes. Lizol Disinfectant surface cleaner may be used on the inside of a refrigerator. However, you must remove all Food, and rinse well after using the product.

7. Can I use this to kill mold and mildew?

Yes. Lizol Disinfectant surface cleaner controls the growth of mold and mildew. It kills the mold, but removal of the stain associated with mold and mildew can sometimes be tough.

8. Does this contain bleach or ammonia?

Lizol Disinfectant surface cleaner contains neither bleach nor ammonia.

Lizol Power Cleaner is a bleach based product.

11. How to use Lizol DFC and where all can it be used.

The product can be used on any hard non-porous surface like floor, kitchen slabs, counters etc  in a manner as prescribed in the usage instruction given on the pack.

12. Which bacteria and virus it kills.

When used Diluted it kills- E coli, S aureus, E Hirae and S enterica.

When used neat it Kills- RSV, H1N1, E coli, S aureus, E Hirae and S enterica.

13. Can Lizol DFC be used as hand sanitizer.

No, Lizol Disinfectant Surface Cleaner is a surface cleaner and is not meant for personal use. It is only meant for non-porous hard surfaces. Even in the safety direction given on the  pack, it is clearly mentioned that in case the product comes in contact with skin and eyes then rinse cautiously with water and if the irritation persist then medical help should be taken. Nonetheless, there are variety of products available under the RB portfolio which can be used for sanitization, disinfection or germ removal which you can use.

14. How often should I use the product.

It is recommended to use the product once per day, as per usage instructions on the back of pack label

15. Is the product food safe, since you are recommending to use on Kitchen Slabs.

Yes, it is safe to be used on kitchen counters if used strictly as per the instructions given on the pack which basically recommends to apply the product, leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with clean water.

16. We also saw a product Lizol Trigger, do they also kill virus.

There are variety of products under the RB umbrella which can be used for sanitization, disinfection or germ removal. Lizol Trigger has not been tested for killing viruses but it has the ability to remove 99.9% germs from surfaces.

17. Can it be used on other surfaces

Yes, it can be used on any hard non-porous surfaces.
